The CBCC Organizing Committee for the 4th Chinese Business Excellence Awards & New Year Celebration Gala, held a meeting on October 17, 2008 at the CBCC¡¯s office at 1027 McNicoll Avenue, Toronto, Ontario. The Committee members include David Chen, Spencer Chen, Sean Hu, Charles Jiang, James Jin, Jack Li, Lance Mao, Joseph Pang, and Sunny Sheng. The meeting discussed verious issues relating to the upcoming Gala.

The 4th Chinese Business Excellence Awards & New Year Celebration Gala will be held 7-10pm, Friday, Feb 20, 2009 at Crystal Fountain Banquet Halls, 60 McDowell Gate, Markham ON L6G 1B5.

The Award categories include Export Award, Import Award, Retail Award, Entrepreneurship Award, Most-Improved Award, and Person of the Year in Chinese business. The selection committee is accepting nomination now. To nominate a candidiate, please fill the Nomination Form .

As the event is held in January, it is always one of the largest in the Chinese community during the season of Chinese new year celebration in the Greater Toronto Area. As always, the event will be covered by all major Chinese media in Canada including TVs, daily newspapers, weekly news, web TVs and Web news
